Metaverse is one of the next big things in the digital technology world and is becoming mainstream. Dubai City has taken the opportunities in the metaverse to become the first city in the world to offer services in virtual land.
Dubai’s Ajman Police General Command unveiled the “Request for Sponsorship” during the Gitex Technology Week became a historic event. The goal of the innovative service is to enable the public to remotely contact authorities.

The metaverse cop app will allow the police to establish another communication channel. This will be done through the virtual domain which aims to solve societal problems. According to the report, it is pre-loaded with 70 designed servicing staff. The app supports seven languages, namely Arabic, English, Chinese, Russian, French, German, and Spanish.
Dubai Police Artificial Intelligence Director Maj. Gen. Khalid Naseer Al Razooqi said the smart device that will be used for this Metaverse-leveraging project stores an individual’s information and transactions. It also stores traffic violations and other offenses committed by the user.
This development furthers the goal of the United Arab Emirates to be a Metaverse Hub to attain its envisioned all-digital economy.
