After a two-week slump pushing the global crypto market cap to $1.03 trillion, a resurgence led by tokens like Sei, CyberConnect, and Akropolis elevates it to $1.1 trillion.
The crypto ecosystem has been struggling over the past two weeks, with the global market cap dropping to a local low of $1.03 trillion on Aug. 23. With the recent news around the Grayscale Bitcoin (BTC) exchange-traded fund (ETF), the industry has gained traction again.
The global crypto market capitalization is getting close to the $1.1 trillion mark with a 4.2% rise in the past 24 hours as most of the top assets have turned green.
Sei token (SEI) is leading the list with 1,758% gains since its launch on Aug. 14. The asset was soon listed on Binance, Coinbase, and Bitfinex, among other exchanges, resulting in a 2,600% rise just hours after it launched.
Moreover, SEI registered an 18% hike over the past 24 hours and is trading at $0.145 at the time of writing. The asset ranks 109 on CMC with a market cap of over $262 million.
CyberConnect (CYBER) and Akropolis (AKRO) followed SEI with 303% and 264% gains in August. The assets are changing hands at $7.27 and $0.017, respectively.
Bad Idea AI (BAD), Rollbit Coin (RLB), and Bluzelle (BLZ) have also registered 178%, 159%, and 115% gains, respectively. The digital assets are currently trading at $0.000000074, $0.19 and $0.11. It’s important to note that RLB hit an all-time high (ATH) of $0.21 on Aug. 12 while BAD and are still far away from their ATHs.
As the list goes further, the monthly gains of the assets have dropped below the 100% mark. Echelon Prime (PRIME) and Unifi Protocol DAO (UNFI) had 88% and 82% hikes in August and are currently trading at $3.4 and $6.3.
The last two spots on the list go to HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu (BITCOIN), also known as the people’s Bitcoin, and Akash Network (AKT) with 81% and 79% surges over the past 30 days.
HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu is trading at $0.11 with a 32% rise in the past 24 hours. On the other hand, AKT registered a slight decline of 1.5% over the past day and is currently changing hands at $1.08.
